PADI Open Water Diver Course

Book a PADI Open Water Diver course and you’re in good company – it’s the most popular dive programme on the planet. It’s not hard to see why. Once you get your certification, you can dive up to a maximum depth of 18 metres for life. You don’t have to top it up or complete the course ever again. The other really big bonus is that it’s recognised worldwide, so wherever you plan on diving in future, you’re all set.
Our PADI Open Water Diver course has been designed to take non-divers, who have little or no experience, to certified divers. Our instructors will be with you every step of the way as you practise and master the skills you need to be a safe and competent diver. The programme is made up of five knowledge development sessions, five training dives and four open water dives in the sea.
The PADI Open Water Diver course takes four days. Your first day will be dedicated to developing your diving know-how. Once your instructor is happy you understand the manual and you’ve watched a DVD, you’ll do confined water dives in shallow water. Day two fine-tunes your diving knowledge followed by more confined water dives. On day three, you’ll graduate to open water for two dives from the shore or our boat, and you’ve got two more open water dives in store on day four when you’ll become a certified PADI Open Water diver.
