Experience one of the most famous wreck diving trips in the Red Sea with Coral Diving Club. The SS Thistlegorm Wreck Diving Trip from Sharm El Sheikh is a full-day diving adventure designed for certified Advanced Open Water divers or higher who want to explore one of the most iconic shipwrecks in Egypt.
The day starts early in the morning with hotel pickup from Sharm El Sheikh, followed by transfer to the marina and boat departure towards the SS Thistlegorm wreck. After arrival, your professional dive guide will give a full briefing about the dive plan, safety procedures, current conditions, and the main highlights of the wreck.
The first dive usually focuses on the outside of the wreck, giving divers the chance to see the impressive structure, marine life, propeller area, deck sections, and the powerful atmosphere of this historic dive site. After a surface interval and lunch on board, the second dive allows more time to explore another part of the wreck, depending on weather, current, visibility, and diver experience.
This trip is ideal for experienced divers looking for a real Red Sea adventure beyond the regular daily dive sites. Due to the depth, possible current, and wreck environment, the SS Thistlegorm wreck diving trip is not suitable for beginner divers or Open Water level divers.
